I made a movie for the Flat Classroom project, that we had to do. My topic was PLE’s and Social Networking. In the project we first had to get signed up on the wiki, and then we had to sign up on the Flat Classroom Ning. I made a Outsourced Video for someone overseas and then someone made a video for me, the videos were to go on out final movie. My final movie is below, it was about the topic, PLE’s and Social Networking.

This week is Global Handwashing week. Tommorow, October the 15th, is Global Handwashing Day.

The reason why they have a global handwashing day, is to raise awareness about the benefits of handwashing with soap,support Global and local cultures of handwashing, and to shine a spotlight on the states of handwashing in each country.

The purpose is about the importance of washing your hands with soap, many people wash their hands but not with soap, whihc doesnt get rid of all the germs.

Handwashing is where you wash your hands, very well with hot water and soap. Handwashing was discovered in 1843, by Dr Oliver Wendell Holmes, when it prevented childbed fever.

This week is Literacy-Numeracy Week. I made a book cover, the one below. Instead of using our real names we went first on a fake name generator, to get fake names for the author of the book. We went then on website style, to get a verb for the name of the book. To get a picture for the front cover we went on FlickrCC .
